Virtualstock partners with commercetools

Virtualstock, who open the doors to selling on marketplaces such as ALDI, John Lewis and Argos, has announced a strategic partnership with commercetools. The collaboration, they say, will transform retail operations by enabling seamless, automated sharing of order and delivery status and stock updates between retailers and their dropship suppliers.

commercetools empowers enterprise businesses to create a flexible and scalable backend that delivers faster time-to-market, lower total cost of ownership, and higher average order value. Meanwhile, Virtualstock’s cloud-based platform provides a seamless one-to-many connection for retailers with their suppliers, ensuring visibility across their supply chain. This includes comprehensive tracking of stock availability, order status, and delivery status. The newly developed connector significantly reduces the development requirements for retailers using commercetools and Virtualstock together, significantly reducing the time and costs associated with onboarding new dropship suppliers and products.

Today consumers expect faster customer service. Economic and technological shifts are changing expectations and the pressure is on for retailers to step up. commercetools and Virtualstock’s connector automates the flow of information between the retailer and their suppliers, ensuring full transparency and visibility of critical data both upstream and downstream via Virtualstock’s REST API. This automation effectively reduces human errors, enhances operational efficiencies, and accelerates both the fulfilment and shipping processes. In turn, retailers’ end-customers get the speed and customer service they need to keep them coming back.

Our partnership with Virtualstock exemplifies our commitment to providing enterprises with cutting-edge solutions that streamline operations and enhance scalability. Our integration with Virtualstock enables automated, seamless order and inventory management, empowering businesses to deliver exceptional customer experiences with increased efficiency.

– Christopher Holley, Global Director of Technology Partnerships, commercetools

We are thrilled to announce our strategic partnership with commercetools. The new connector, which automates the connection between retailers and their suppliers is available from the 27th of August 2024. It demonstrates our joint commitment to helping businesses conquer the complexities of ecommerce and unlock new levels of productivity and profitability.
